pairing pondering

So I was staring at my pairings list...

And I'm very suspicious at the patterns...namely there's alot of the "My enemy, my friend" thing going on, that could be subdivided into "Annoying friend that fucks things up" (where it's anywhere from "I'm a nut, but I'm cute" to "I purposefully make your life miserable, BWAHAHA") and "The drinking buddy of homicidal tendancies" (ranging anywhere from "The moment you close your eyes..." to "I really don't want to kill you" to "I know I scare you, just be glad I'm on *your* side").

...the only exceptions to this seems to be Boromir/Faramir, and the ones listed under "Size Matters".

I'm not sure what to make of this, heh.

Heh. That's funny, and I think that's the case for a lot of people. For me, almost every one of my OTPs are enemies in canon. Apparently I have a totally kink for hate!sex and didn't realize it. *is amused*
