Eeee! Yay! Oh, Minekura, you rule, even if you are not doing on it purpose, although I like to think you are and find it hard to believe you are not. Yes, lovely echoes there-- even, I think, in the stripes of blood on Tokitoh's cheek. Although, I'm not sure it's a straight parallel between the two sets of characters. More recently, Kubota seems to be a mix of Hakkai and Sanzo and Tokitoh a mix of Gojyo and Goku. His Goku-ness really jumps out at me these days, mostly because I noticed one of the first thing Tokitoh says is 'I'm hungry!' *g*
