So what I did, at least for work and a bit for friends and family, is plan out how I would start the conversation and have a very definite purpose in mind.
YES! exactly! I have to do that too! With a list by me and everything (thing is, sometimes in lectures and stuff I have to do this anyway too before I speak up so I don't tangent horribly...)
