apologies and this and that and some other things

First of all, I apologize: I had a moment of stupidity back there that turned into extended stupidity that might be brushed off by PMS except for the fact that,

I was a dumbass about the J/N thing, seriously.

I figure I was pretty much given slight leeway (in the few de-friendings I had) because I sometimes pimp links and am occasionally interesting and squee a lot; small blessings, eh?

...then again, I'll probably be a dumbass over something *else* in the future; 'cause really, I'm just fumbling my way forward.

Therefore, thanks and hugs goes to latxcvi, firesignwriter, mimesere, webcrowmancer, 1_and_the_same, and others who were paitient and twapped me upside the head during my moment of stupidity in my J/N post. The discussion *did* clarify certain issues, major ones being that no subtext-based relationship *should* be qualified as uncanon and that I really really must proofread my entries more before I post.

Either that, or stop posting, and since THAT won't happen unless I'm in the middle of a creative spazz...proofreading it is.

Speaking of creative spazzes am now semi-mostly recovered from my midterms even though I'm pretty sure that I got ass-raped on my linear algerbra midterm. Self-medicated by going into vid-farr, anyone willing to beta/guinea-pig it when I'm done? I need someone who's *not* on a laptop and who vaguely follows Smallville (ie. seen an ep or two and only is kinda sorta up to date on what's been going on) to check for contrast and to figure out how much of a "you really should know [lj-cut text="spoilers"] yadda yadda [/lj-cut] before viewing this".

But! VID! ::dances:: huge tho, and have no clue where to store it for download. ::pokes flist:: any suggestions?

Also, there is waaaaaay too much fic to catch up on.

Also, need to post fic-a-thon fic although is a day late and a couple hundred words short and ... not happy with it.
