VVC: overall reactions and Thursday

so I'm back home and with the VividCon-Has-Exploded-My-Brains reactions, not that I could be coherent anyways, and floating on a bubbly high and.

Wow.

I AM SO GLAD I WENT. And yet there were so little time, and me running around to try to perhaps meet people and just. Wow. Premiere's this year was FANTASTIC, with awesome range and stylistic complexity and they make me want to babble at length about narrative compositions and mood-driven versus event-driven organizations and draw up charts and just wiggle in delight.

AND I MET sisabet and sockkpuppett! My vidding mommies! And I thought I had more time with them, but turn around and the weekend was over and good goddamn I'm figuring out next year better. or something. or at least working out how to be less tongue-tied around them.

Also! Also! I met silviakundera! Who's work made me start writing again and whose Butter And Pigtails and Legends has forever imprinted themselves on my brain.

And just the whole entire con I swear I was spazzing at people and being all amazed and in hindsight I'd probably fangirled too much, but, dude seriously?, if you want to meet cool people every single one of the people at vividcon are just awesome and intelligent and interesting.

::blinks:: I should probably work through this in a more logical way, eh?

So I'm staring in dismay at my VVC program and trying to figure out how to organize this post because there's really a huge difficulty in separating personal squee from vid squee without my forgetting something. Not that I haven't probably forgotten things already, probably. ::headdesk::

Note To Self for next year, take better notes.

And yup yup yup, I am definatly going again next year, come hell or high water!

Meanwhile: the way I figure, I'll just put cut-tags at every vidshow and panel so that ya'll can just jump to that, yes? =) Onward!
