School looks to be busy, life looks to be busy, and I'm alternately hiding from my flist and peeking at it in dismay.
Hmm.
time for a blessings count:
- The sun came out and joined me and my friends for lunch today, smiled a little and greeted the clouds.
- My mind feels slightly achy the way it feels when it's worked hard: a bit sore, a bit tired, a bit satisfied. These classes frighten me a little, like a new relationship, in that good way when you know you'll come out of it brighter in the end.
- My family is well, if a bit too attentive. It could be worse; and I thank that they are safe.
- The taste of tea is of comfort, a bit dark, a bit bitter, but mostly just warmth, condensed. It's weekend dinners and chatter and like the feel of blankets.
- I am happy to wake up in the mornings, abet with some grumblings. (There is no possibly way to describe what an impossible blessing this is, unless you've also experienced the inverse.)
