Thanks for the link to that thread. And yes, the post I think was a great idea. And there were lots of posters who represented the audience. What I saw being discussed, as seen in hannahrorlove's comments, was a little different than what I wanted to address. She was more concerned about viewers not knowing the fandom and the vidder's ability to reach the audience when there is said unfamiliarity, whereas I was trying (and admittedly maybe too venomously) to speak for the average viewer who likes to watch vids on a more casual basis.
