Also, no one ever told me that Discworld is on the back of elephants on the back of a giant sea turtle! This makes me much more interested in reading the books (which I have been meaning to do for some time but I keep getting distracted by other shiny).

oh god, Discworld is CRACK, it's oddball humor and horrible sekrit puns and satire on society. In that way it sorta reminds me of Hitchhiker's Guide, but with fantasy instead of sci-fi.

And beautiful descriptions, like this one where it describes the stars as God's dandruff. ^_^V
