PLEASE please please read Howard Dean's "Meet With the Press" Interview".

My god; the guy makes me love him more and more and more the more I find out about him. He makes sense. Dear Lord.

Dear Lord, a politician makes sense. Wait--fuckit, he's no politician, he's a statesman godsdemmit.

Even as Bush's nominiation for Nobel Peace Prize makes me sick to my stomach (wanna sign a quick petition against the nomination?), reading the transcript and seeing that there's at least ONE person willing to say it like it is?

It gives me hope. And if enough people actually pay attention to what he's saying instead of what the media is trying to spin him as, he *will* win the nomination, and he *will* win the presidency.

Because this man is not promising the moon, he's not promising Mars, he's not promising America the world...but he's *showing* a way to bring us back to a place where we could be proud to say we're American.

And *that* I believe, and trust in.

Already signed the petition, and added a few rather strong but eloquently worded comments too.

I am, in fact, physically sick regarding this nomination.

From what I understand of the nominations for Nobel Peace Prizes, anyone who is a statesman or has a PhD can be nominated. It doesn't mean that they have a chance in hell of being nominated. In fact, people inside the process are already privately telling the press just that. The tiny matter of starting a war has him out.

Being chosen.

Because I am an idiot.
