For
boniblithe's Feedback Challenge
So. I have to admit it. I've been a naughty reader, I read and loved fic and didn't send feedback.
Or a rec.
::hides::
So I'm using this feedback challenge of Bonibaru's to give long belated squee over
valarltd's fic.
'Cause yes. Star Wars. Han/Luke. (::squee's excessively::)
And yes, consider these recs too.
Clear Vision is one of those fics I just adore to pieces, partly because I have such a great and utter love for well done third person perspective fic on a couple.
Moonlit Silences companion piece to it, doubt and discussion after Endor, *love* the characterizations.
Corellian Winter Passages is a future!fic of an aged Luke. The past history is revealed well and paced gorgeously, and the tone is lovely and sad in all the *best* ways.
Matrix of Reality is an AU post-carbonite thawing fic, and just. ::happysigh:: that's how it's *supposed* to go, dammit.
Her Corellia series (Postcards from Corellia, All the Waters of Corellia, and Leaf-turning on Corellia) is just a good long read of happyfic of the *best* sort. It makes me all warm and glowly and I just want to *hug* the characters tight. Perfect for curling up to with hot cocoa....
Bluffs is cliche!fic of the "They Must Go In Disguise!" sort, but ooooooooh, done WELL with a nicely rounded plot.
There are a couple of fics that show the darker edges of the old Jedi Republic, but none quite done in the retrospective way as Choosing Day did. It is interesting the way the story was told, if with an more extra bit of smut in the middle, and shows a bit of the more difficult parts of a rebellion which is, rather, in the rebuilding that takes place after.
::giggles and points at:: Not a Bad Day’s Work. The Falcon needs a yard sale. Too cute for words. =)
And if you like AU's at ALL go read Growth in a Desolate Season, 'cause this is *ingenious* craft, this is just, ::squees and bounces:: okay, admittedly I have a huge love for well-done harem fic. And this is nice and long and more than good enough to sink my teeth into. What she did for Jabba! for Chewbacca! ::loves unashamedly:: It just makes my heart happy, 'cause Han is a sailor! A Captain and a semi-pirate and DUDE. You who read my journal already know where my soul lies...
