I've reorganized the Big List of Vid Meta that used to be titled Vidding for Newbies.
Don't worry, I didn't change the post's address, it's streamlined and all the redundant lj comments were deleted for clarity.
I've split apart Vidding for Newbies because I realized that the list was getting long and intimidating, streamlined everything else, and gave the subsections their own post, with links that go back and forth and every which way.
To the links themselves I've added:
- Memories from ViVidCon 2004
- Language of Vidding
- Aesthetics: Movement
- Connecting with the Audience
- clipping and rhythm in vidding
- Splitting source using Virtual Dub
- Virtual Dub encoding, aspect ratio problems
- Adobe Premiere "encounters a problem" on rendering a vid
-
ladysorka recs vids
- anime vids v. live action vids (internal motion and accessible vidding)
Please comment if you think something was sorted wrong. Please link me if you've done a commentary on your vid that I've not linked to. Please please give me a heads-up if there was vidding meta that I've missed, yes?
