...Nearly New is going to end up in the VVC DVDs? ::ponders:: 'cause, yeah, I think I would massively love that panel. But overall I'm angsting over pretty much all of Saturday much much more. (and dooode, do I go to Premiere in the room or the overflow room where I can chat? wah!)
Oh btw! Do you happen to need another person to split room fees with? o.o I still need to figure out room situation re:VVC...
The vids that premiere in Nearly New usually wind up on the DVDs. Also there will be a tape of the Nearly New show in the VVC library that you can check out and watch in your room.
My advice - if the panel looks interesting - go with the panel. They will have copies of the shows available for borrowing to bring to rooms.
Looking at them in the room with a small chatty audience isn't necessarily the same as looking at them in a big room with a big quiet audience but, it is unlikely that you will miss out entirely on seeing a vid if you don't see it during the show.
My other consideration has been that if my eyes hurt from watching too many vids, I go to the panel. If my brain hurts from attending too many panels, I go to the vid show. If my brain and my eyes hurt, I go sit down in the con suite and load up on Amy's delicious fudge.

I mean even so, I don't want you to be homeless - you could sleep with me in the king bed, unless you're a blanket hog. Then I keel you.

Or at least wave around in a sorta musical way to show what I'm talking about ;D.

I have done shiny/sparkly the past two years, and I got outshone both times. This year I'm just hoping to wear something cute that's fun to dance in.

And we will probably all need to bounce around a little as I suspect we will have 5 people in the car on the way down.
