I'm talking anywhere from Vidding to Compositing to Painting. Read it, trust me. Eventually I might make a point-by-point post relating her comments on static composition to compositions-in-motion-and-how-that-applies-to-vidding-effects but that looks to happen some other time when I actually have time.

for a preview, part one goes something like: think of a painting as 3D, you see it via 2D and the third dimension is the *layers* of paint. Now play 3D checkers...And of course there's different "weights" of movement, sorta like how there's different weights of pencil thickness and whatnot. umm
I dunno if that made any sense, but yeah, more later. ::wry grin::
