So I got an invite to Wirehog and it looks really cool, but I'd thought to throw it out into the ether for feedback.

Pro's? Con's?

I'm currently on dial-up, and also I'm leery of putting new things in my harddrive because I'm in the middle of vidding. (~40 gigs, half full, 256 ram) Thoughts?

pros - only your friends can access your directories/files
pros - if you can get connected, you can grab a whack of files at once fairly easily (but I'm on cable, so won't quote relative stats)

cons - there seems to be a bug that shows people as offline when they're not.

pro/con - it's actually web-based.

I've used it, though I've only managed to connect to one friend (I'm nekonexus, surprise surprise ^_^) but when connected I grabbed an entire CD (47meg) in about 10 minutes.

I'd suggest waiting til you're done vidding, though, especially with only 256MB ram. ^_^
