Psych. OMG. This is...gahhh, it's all sorts of beautiful and hilarious.

Granted it could have been funnier and slightly better timed, but I think they might still be gettting into the swing of it? I'm still SO SO SO EXCITED.

Shawn, the lead, is like the bastard love-child of John Sheppard and Naruto. I...didn't think this was possible? And yet ::points and flails:: And god, I don't know yet why I love Gus so much except Shawn sorta kinda tricked him into a marriagepartnership (and he gets soooooo peeved when Shawn flirts with women). ::GLEE:: PLUS! A potential something-something happening between Shawn and his Assigned Bastard. XD It might or might not turn into anything but eeee, it fills me with joy. I spent most of the episode cackling, which, good sign. ::bounces and crosses the fingers and HOPES SO HARD OMG::

[edit] OMG, figured out why I love Gus. Or rather, I read a thing and realized that it was yes, exactly that:
"He's like an encyclopedia of useless knowledge," Roday says, "that oddly becomes useful every week."

"Because Gus is a big undercover nerd, he's like a walking oxymoron," Hill says. "He's cool, but when you start talking to him, you're like, "That doesn't really add up.' He's like, "Everybody knows about that.' "No, no, nobody knows that.' "

"It's that Gus thing," Roday says. "With each episode, we're learning about another kind of subculture that Gus is into."
XD YES. (from the last article here)

Eeeei! Thank you!

God I loved that movie! The kissing! The betrayed hurt look! The idiotic self sacrificing to get back the man Elizabeth loves! It was awesome! And Jack called her a pirate! *abuses !!!! with glee*
