This vid draws inspiration from fandom as a whole rather than the movie alone. In particular, the vid has been influenced by Forsaking All Others by fabu, Crimson and Monsters by viva_gloria, and Immortality by linaelyn. ::bows respectfully towards these awesome pirates::

I must confess to having downloaded and then replayed this particular vid countless times without ever letting you know how spectacularly awesome it is. Please hereby be notified: I doubt I shall ever find another vid I enjoy quite so much. You've captured Jack so perfectly, and it seems more like Disney tailored the movie to this song and your vid than the other way around, LOL!

Would you mind terribly (in my pathethic attempt to allay my shame in not providing feedback), if I recced this vid on my LJ? (With the appropriate caveat of downloading, not playing from your site, of course!) I would be most eternally grateful!!

okay. i know this is an old(er) post, but i still feel like i have to say it: i love that vid, seriously.

it's so adorable & sweet, and at the same time sad and haunting. the perfect circle song fits perfectly & i love the way you edited especially the refrains, it just fits.
i love the focus on jack & his love for fredom - the 'gravity' is (imho) something like the way he feels when he is free (or the way he wants to feel or should feel), being in the water or flying through the air or something like that - just: not being attached on the ground/earth... ;) okay, i'm going off interpreting vids again, hope you don't mind. i just wanted to let you know the aweomsness of his vid - there are never too many potc vids, especially good ones. (and serious ones)
