Lyrics: Sunburn by Muse
"Come let the truth be shared,"
No-one ever dared
To break these endless lies
Secretly she cries
She burns like the sun
I can't look away
She'll burn our horizons, make no mistake
"Come waste your millions here,"
Secretly she sneers
"Another corporate show,"
A guilty conscience grows
I'll feel a guilty conscience grow
I'll feel a guilty conscience grow
She burns like the sun
I can't look away
She'll burn our horizons, make no mistake
And I'll hide from the world
Behind a broken frame
And I'll burn/run forever
I can't face the shame
And I'll hide from the world
Behind a broken frame
And I'll burn/run forever
I can't face the shame
Notes: Blarg. The DivX encodes were hating on me majorly so I gave up and just did .wmv (note to self: encode Gravity to .wmv), will eventually switch the 'large' version with a DivX encode, but not so much right now; which, honestly, I posted this so that I'd stop stressing over this and am thus able to stress over my essay instead. ::wry grin::

Beautiful movie, but exactly the sort of source that should be vidded.
This is one of the very few vids that I just watch repeatedly, ie, one of less than 5.
So, I've watched it so many times, but still - what do I say?
From 'Secretly she cries', the rising crescendo in red, it's the first place where I get a little thrill every time.
Argh, something about the 'shiny', but. It's just cool.
*sigh* Not being descriptive enough.
The rain and water music - so perfectly in tune with the scenes. Or is it the other way round?
The scream is perfectly timed, but even more so, the point after that, the sound/sight of swords, metal scraping on metal - I didn't notice that right away, but it again, sounds so perfectly right.
I don't think I'll ever be able to hear this song and not associate it with this vid.
I can 'see/hear' at each point whether it should be red, green, blue or black, when previously, I never would have noticed so explicitly the different 'tones' in the music like that.
Thank you.
