Lyrics: Sunburn by Muse

"Come let the truth be shared,"
No-one ever dared
To break these endless lies
Secretly she cries

She burns like the sun
I can't look away
She'll burn our horizons, make no mistake

"Come waste your millions here,"
Secretly she sneers
"Another corporate show,"
A guilty conscience grows
I'll feel a guilty conscience grow
I'll feel a guilty conscience grow

She burns like the sun
I can't look away
She'll burn our horizons, make no mistake

And I'll hide from the world
Behind a broken frame
And I'll burn/run forever
I can't face the shame

And I'll hide from the world
Behind a broken frame
And I'll burn/run forever
I can't face the shame

Notes: Blarg. The DivX encodes were hating on me majorly so I gave up and just did .wmv (note to self: encode Gravity to .wmv), will eventually switch the 'large' version with a DivX encode, but not so much right now; which, honestly, I posted this so that I'd stop stressing over this and am thus able to stress over my essay instead. ::wry grin::

Just saw this. Stunning. The movie is haunting and beautiful, and I loved the way you made it into a vid--all the anguish!

I just found this vid in the deep backwaters of my to-be-watched folder and pulled it out. It's lovely! I'm especially struck by the juxtapositions of very still shots with clips of intense action, and also by the use of color -- which is something that the movie itself is clearly providing, but that you've incorporated beautifully into the vid. Favorite moment: around 2:40, the swords through sand / water / leaves and the red red brush swooping across the paper. WOW. Gorgeous.

Beautiful vid.
Beautiful movie, but exactly the sort of source that should be vidded.

This is one of the very few vids that I just watch repeatedly, ie, one of less than 5.

So, I've watched it so many times, but still - what do I say?
From 'Secretly she cries', the rising crescendo in red, it's the first place where I get a little thrill every time.
Argh, something about the 'shiny', but. It's just cool.
*sigh* Not being descriptive enough.

The rain and water music - so perfectly in tune with the scenes. Or is it the other way round?

The scream is perfectly timed, but even more so, the point after that, the sound/sight of swords, metal scraping on metal - I didn't notice that right away, but it again, sounds so perfectly right.

I don't think I'll ever be able to hear this song and not associate it with this vid.
I can 'see/hear' at each point whether it should be red, green, blue or black, when previously, I never would have noticed so explicitly the different 'tones' in the music like that.

Thank you.
