First: Arrrrrr! The specific pirates we's to imitiate were not specified in the "Talk Like a Pirate's Day's" negotiations or agreements.

Secondly: I must be a pirate for the pirate's talk to apply, and I'm not but a screaming-ball-of-cramps. Compelled by greed (for fic) I am, and now I am consumed by it... do not disincline to aquiesce to my request for slash recs, of a soulbonded-eternity smoopiness, such as Kirk/Spock.

And Thirdly: I'll not be confining ye t'that pairing alone, mind. Kirk/Spock's more like what you'd call guidelines, anyway.

LOL! Most excellent Barbossa-talk. It's getting so anyone and her monkey can do Jack-talk, but Barbossa-talk? That's special?

Here at Castle Anthrax...er, wait, wrong disclaimer. Here at Chez Coyo, we positively adore Killa for many, many reasons...but the fact that she wrote the very first slash story I ever read is near the top of the list. It was a K/S thing, even--"Turning Point"--and when I saw there was a sequel--"Full Circle"--my life was complete. And there was much rejoicing.

and my god but I near *bawled* when I got to the middle of the third part and then Wolfsheim's "Approaching Lightspeed" came up on my mp3 list and:

and the typed lyrics doesn't do the song anywhere near justice because it's in the voice and the phrasing and the background music and reading the fic with it on damn well *broke* my heart. *wibble*. *WIBBLE*, I tell you, the intersection of *that* story and *that* song with *that* voice. gahhhh.
