School.

Aww... I had been wondering how you were always playing with the vidding thing when people were at work. Doom indeed. I is sorry.

And I'm convinced that disappearing is just something fish do... Knowing your affinity for horror things, maybe I could cheer you up with my other fish horror story?

Disclaimer: I swear I am an animal lover and not an evil person.

It was a Black Moor, complete with telescope eyes (if you're not familiar, here's a random picture from the web: http://community.webshots.com/photo/97965100/122597086qBcTrd ). One day, the boyfriend and I were cleaning out the tank. As usual, one of us was holding the hose that was draining the water and the other was holding the bucket. Ideally, we would be paying attention to what we and the fish were doing. This time we were talking and getting distracted, not noticing that the poor fish was getting too close to the hose.

...

You guessed it: An eye got sucked into the hose.

And it got worse.

We were in panic, and tried hard to rescue the fish...

...

Uhm. I don't want to traumatize you. Maybe I should stop?

The boyfriend managed to pull the fish from the hose. And the eye was cut off. How the inside looked is still very clear in my head. Anyway, a few seconds later, the eye fell through the hose into the bucket.

We then put the fish to sleep.
