I'm on the quote-hunt again...googling as always, but just thought to see if anyone might know of something that might work.

In particular, I need something about chasing or hunting or loving the chase, maybe something about the game of cat and mouse or something similar. Any ideas?

LOL, and I accidentally hit "enter" before I could explain where it was from. It's a book called Huntress for L.J. Smith. And I was going to find more, but apparently there weren't as many good quotes as I remember.

....as a totally random person observing this thread, uhm, LJ Smith! I was such a fan back in the day. I was reminded of the trilogy for The Forbidden Game, myself, but couldn't remember any quotes off hand.

I adored "The Forbidden Game." Unfortunately, I don't own it, so finding a quote from it was impossible.

I'd do the same... I did own it, all three in one book, then I lent it to a friend. Not only did she never read it; she never gave it back!

But I totally thought of it, because didn't the second book revolve around that sort of chase thing? Oh, Julian. (I HATED Tom..)

I think that's how I first read them, by the library.. It' so hard to find her books! It's really disappointing, too. Obviously, if I read them now,I'd probably be disappointed, but, I looooved them. Did she even ever finish the Nightworld series?

Actually, I've reread all her works I own recently... and I still adore them. Not as descriptive as I'm used to anymore, but hey, it's a teenager's series.

And no, she never finished it. O_o She keeps promising to, but I've been waiting 6 years and I've seen nothing yet...

I say I'd be disappointed just so I don't get my hopes up. It's been /ages/, but I recently read Peter Pan and /adored/ that, so, we'll see. Alas, the only ones I can find are.. the only ones I've been able to find for years, so while I'd like to check others out..
