fuckity. I knew this would happen.

Upside: friend's b-day party went well. Mostly. She was depressed that half the night went well and some of the plans went pear-ended the latter half. Over which she became a little black raincloud despite the fact that people had fun.

Downside: came back at 6am. Was dead to the world until 2pm. Puttered around apt cleaning up whirlwind that was yesterday and it occurred to self to go to cafe to check internet at around 4:45pm.

Yeah, I kinda had a feeling this would happen when I heard tickets were going to be up on Saturday.

[edit] I am on aim right now. DISTRACT ME FROM REGISTERING ON WAITLIST AGAIN. (have already done so twice)

I managed to get in on the waitlist last year, and I didn't register until after Escapade!

Also, I was told I was in three weeks before the con last year, so I probably got in because other people on the waitlist had to default at such short notice, so.
