Note Worthy
Face Analyzer - SO FREAKING COOL. It basically tagged mine and my roommates' racial profiles and pretty darn near the personality profiles too; it's interesting to notice that all the stars and most celebrities have very, very 'average' faces. Which makes a sort of sense, come to think of it. [edit] BEFORE YOU USE, you should notice this excerpt from their TOS, which mentions providing the information they might gather to 'third-parties'.

Fleshlight. o.0 huh, interesting adult toy. (NOT WORKSAFE.) (::blinks:: also, 'Mr. Limpy'? o.0;;; oh my flist...)

I backtracked from my site stats. I get a big ego boost hunting down links to my website ;)

That face analyzer said I was Japanese or Korean.

*looks at red hair, and Irish, German, and Swedish ancestry* ...okay then.

Yeah, I got some pretty wonky answers too. Try another pic and see what you get. :D

The face reader is pretty funny.

I tried a couple of pics and got: 100% Anglo-Saxon; 83% Middle Eastern + 17% Southern European; 20% East Indian + 28% Eastern European + 3% Southern European + 49% Anglo-Saxon; 15% Eastern European + 37% Anglo-Saxon + 48% Korean/Japanese.

I am very amused.

Roughly the same: I tend to tilt my head to the right when I know someone's taking a picture. The real difference was if my hair was tied back or down around my face. Very, very odd.

I am very amused. And very perplexed, because while people almost never guess where my family is from, the guesses are rarely this far off!

The first pic I tried it tagged me as 45% Middle Eastern, 6% Anglo-Saxon, 39% Korean/Japanese, and 9% Chinese. The second one tagged me as 100% Chinese.

I can actually sort of guess where some Middle Eastern might come from because while I am lily-ass white, my Dad is dark Scots and would get that from the dark Gaels that came from mixing Moors into the mash.

But, mostly, I think the glasses may be confusing the crap out of it. And I am so blind, so you'll never find a pic of me that doesn't have me in glasses, so.

For someone who is regularly concerned about internet privacy I'm surprised you went ahead and used that faceanalyser site.

From the TOS:

"If you do not wish to have your picture or information about yourself viewed by or disclosed to others, do not use our Service. We reserve the right to transfer such information without your consent for any reason including and not limited to enabling us to prevent an emergency, to protect or enforce our rights, to protect or enforce the rights of a third party or in response to a court order or subpoena as otherwise required or permitted by law. In addition, we provide this personal information to third-party service providers who help us maintain our Service and deliver information and services to you and other users of our Service."

This site calculates biometrics and gives them to anyone who wants them - the kind that governments would like to track down terrorists but are proven to be really unreliable.
